Calling all American Girl fans. I'm excited to see that American Girl has released several new titles. New additions to their book collection include: 3 new mysteries, 2 new "Innerstar University" books, and a book titled, A Smart Girl's Guide to Liking Herself - Even on Bad Days. These books are for ages 8+ but Kenzie who is now 6 started really enjoying the American Girl stories and movies by age 5. Now at 6 1/2 she's totally into me reading them aloud and is

Conde Nast just published their 1st ever Family Travel issue. As someone who loves to travel - and has embraced traveling with a young family- I just love the tips and ideas they are sharing for new destinations to visit that are kid friendly, yet still exotic and exciting. We took Kenzie to the Cayman Islands when she was only 12 months old - and have done many other Caribbean and US vacations since - I think it's time we start to explore the rest

Just in! Hanes now has a new line of bras just for girls. We heart Hanes. I'm so excited to see their new line of bras for Girls'. Polka dot patterns, solids, and sweet bows for a feminine touch. I adore these and they are just the perfect "1st" bra for young girls. Disclosure: I'm a member of the Hanes

My kids LOVE the movie Hop. Hop released on DVD in stores yesterday, March 23rd, 2012 - just in time for Easter. It's on sale for about $19.99 for the combo pack that comes with both a regular DVD, Blu-Ray and a digital copy too! We love the digital copy - we'll be loading this on our iPad tonight so the kids can watch it this week when we're flying to Florida. We took the kids to see it in theaters last spring before Easter

What a surprise! Pepsi is launching a brand new product in a few days and we were 1 of the first 100 people to sample it. Very cool. Today we received this surprise shipment of a 6 pack of Pepsi Next on ice for us to put to the taste test. (Yes, I did love it - tasted just like regular Pepsi to me.) And it was a smart marketing plan too as I had no idea this package would be arriving but was beyond intrigued

Words can't even begin to describe the thrill and inspiration of running the Disney Princess Half Marathon. These photos capture a bit of the magic. The race started with Fireworks, we ran down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and through the Castle, and finished at Epcot. With all kinds of music, marching bands, and beloved Disney Characters cheering us on - and taking photos with us too! Here's my splits below. Overall place Women's Division - 277 th out of 15,802 I was thrilled with

Here's some key tips for every mom-to-be on cord blood banking. I didn't do it for my kids, but with recent news and new research being discovered all the time - I so now wish I had done my homework and signed up to save their cord blood . I just was overwhelmed with my pregnancy and the dizzying array of information on the Web and never got around to planning to save cord blood. Sigh. That’s why Rallie McAllister, M.
