They've arrived! Check out the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% Unboxing in our video and photos. AWESOME shoes. Super excited to actually see if my speedy husband Mike, an elite masters distance runner, actually ends up racing "4%" faster in these kicks too! Priced at $250 these racing shoes are definitely for the serious distance runner! Nike specially designed the Zoom Vaporfly 4% in their labs to try to help elite runners finally break the 2 HOUR marathon barrier which is 4:35 per mile pace for

Out of the pool and into the woods! I'm so proud of 9 year old Kenzie for hopping in her very 1st ever Cross Country meet last weekend. My girl LOVES LOVES LOVES to run. She did AMAZING! I missed the meet, but a friend captured some fabulous photos. Kenzie has lots of endurancea and is a natural runner. Her kick apparently was incredible at the end of her 3000 meter race. (About 2 miles!) She's busy with field hockey and the swim team this Fall,

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day for the Valley Forge Revolutionary Run this past weekend at Valley Forge National Park. With the park in our backyard, we're no strangers to hiking, running, or enjoying the beauty there, but it was exciting to see the fanfare on race day. If you've never done it before, and are local to the Philadelphia area, this a perfect way to kick off your spring running season. We realized the kids could participate this year too! Kenzie and Kyle loved

She's a runner! It's so exciting to see your children grow and reach that point where they can begin to share your passions and interests. To celebrate Mother's Day, my 8 yr old Kenzie and I ran a 5K together that is just for girls. The vibe of the race is awesome as everyone runs a 2 loop 5K course downtown styling in their pink race t-shirts - and it's all women! From little girls to grandmas. I love these photos of my daughter and

Exciting day! Perfect spring weather rolled in just in time for 8 year old Kenzie to run in her very 1st official track meet. No wind and beautiful weather of 60 degrees made it an ideal day for runners and us spectators. Kenzie ran the 1500 and did amazing. It was neat to see her competitive spirit come alive on the track - and not just in the pool. Kenzie ROCKED in her 1500 meter race. I worried this would be too long for her,

Night at the races! The little guy was just glowing with JOY after his 1st win in anything EVER last night. He was all smiles winning his 5 & under race and so proud of his moment. My heart was just bursting for him! A fast night for Mike too - 15:56 for his 5K. And all the kids had a blast - this is the 8th year we've been running Terri's run with our friends. It's become quite a tradition!

Kenzie and Kyle had so much fun running a kids 1 Mile race this weekend - running 1 mile, hanging with friends post race, and enjoying some free facepainting and creations from balloon artists. Kenzie was extra thrilled to place as the 2nd girl in the kids 12 & under category and earn a silver medal. Kenzie couldn't wait to "race" and without any pressure from Mom or Dad, Kyle surprised us all when he asked if he could PLEASE race too when we were

Always amazed to see just how much influence my husband and I have over our kids. Even without trying, whatever habits we develop as parents, it seems that via the osmosis of living together, our kids will adopt them too.  This theory is great motivation to make you eat healthy and exercise regularly given that most likely whatever lifestyle you lead, will be the lifestyle your kids will ultimately lead too. Mike and I are runners and since it can be hard to stay motivated during the

Happy Father's Day to Mike! There's nothing like remembering those glory days of our youth however, Mike was able to relish the moment again and shine unexpectedly this weekend. Looks like Olympic Fever has hit as Mike was surrounded by kids requesting his autograph after winning a local 5K this weekend. Hysterical and super cute! Winning races is nothing new for Mike but as autograph requests are definitely NOT part of the "5K race winner" package. I thought the autograph requests were especially sweet as our
